Hello bestie,
Welcome to the first edition of my newsletter. Thank you for being the first people who get to read this, and thank you from the bottom of my heart, for signing up.
I promise this won’t all be gushing and thanks (although, have I said thank you enough yet?) My plan for this is to be a monthly update on what I’ve been reading, but more importantly, my most recent writing projects and my progress. To keep you keen, I’ll be sharing exclusive content as well as sneak peeks and discount codes.
What I’ve Been Reading
July was all about refinding M.A. Wardell. From an ARC of his new cowboy story, Stirring Spurs, to falling back in love with Marvin and Olan in Teacher of the Year, I adore how Wardell writes men falling in love with other men, and Stirring Spurs ignited a love for hairy guys that I didn’t even know I had!
In August, I’m eagerly awaiting news of whether I’ve landed the most recent Sophie Snow and Amy Award ARCs, and devouring Emily Rath’s Pucking Strong.

What I’ve Been Writing
Call It Fête has been out for three months now, and I’m enjoying reading the reviews. Now that I've recovered from the whole debut publishing process, I’ve turned my attention to my next WIP.
Lego House (working title only), is another story based in the UK — this time in Wales — about a popstar’s bodyguard and PA falling in love while on tour. I have a few ideas for a title, but I’m not going to spill the secret just yet. I’m already 15,000 and 5 chapters into the story. Perhaps once this draft is done, I can announce a release date. You’ll be the first to hear.
Going back to Call It Fête. As a thank you (sorry) for signing up, I have written a bonus prologue. It’s a scene I was dying to include in the original book, but I couldn’t find a way of fitting it in. Please feel free to drop me a DM or an email with your thoughts once you’ve read it.
Author Spotlight
Since it’s my first edition, I’m spotlighting two of my favourite indie authors.
Vladimir Stefan
I first came across Vlad when I ARC read his debut, What to Eat During the Apocalypse. His mix of satire and political commentary ticked a lot of boxes for me, so I was super excited when he gave me beta access to the sequel.
He didn’t hate me after my lengthy comments and suggestions, and today the duology is completed with the publishing of What to Eat After the Apocalypse. I’ll be getting to the book as I’ve finished my current read. I can’t wait to see the changes he’s made.

Beatrice Bradshaw
Last summer, I was sent an ARC of Love in The Scottish Fall Forest and I fell in love with Beatrice’s writing. I adored that the story was based in Scotland, and that gave me the courage to focus more of my stories in the beautiful world of Wales. I absolutely recommend you read her Escape to Scotland series.
But recently I was gifted an ARC of Tackled by Trouble. Who the hell knew I needed a rugby romance in my life? Think of those glorious thighs, those big muscly men and the type of women brave enough to deal with them. Absolutely swoon worthy. I’ve applied for an ARC for the sequel — Rucked Up Ruse — but you know I’ll be buying a trophy for my book case anyway.

Finally, my cat Ginny is officially too fat. Again. The poor beastie has struggled with her weight ever since she was hand-reared litter runt. Last week, the vet told me that if she doesn’t get her weight down, she’ll be put on a weight management course, which will mean highly rationed food. So Dreamies and her favourite Lick-E-Liks are completely off the table. Please pray for her empty tummy.
